Welcome to Women and Children First’s groundbreaking e-learning course on the Participatory Learning and Action for Maternal and Newborn Health (PLA-MNH) group approach.

This e-learning course has been developed, written and produced by world experts in the PLA-MNH group approach. The course builds on 20 years experience designing, implementing and evaluating the approach and has been used to train teams and establish PLA-MNH group programmes in 13 countries - and counting.

The course is split into 11 modules:
- Module 1: Introduction to PLA-MNH groups
- Module 2: Planning a PLA-MNH group programme
- Module 3: Facilitating PLA-MNH groups
- Module 4: Supervising PLA-MNH groups
- Module 5: Managing PLA-MNH groups
- Module 6: Monitoring a PLA-MNH group programme
- Module 7: Training for facilitators
- Module 8: Training for supervisors
- Module 9: Training for managers
- Module 10: Monitoring training
- Module 11: Evaluating a PLA-MNH group programme

Each module is supported by exclusive presentations, interactive exercises and decision-making tools and supportive print materials and is suitable for stakeholders at all levels looking to implement PLA-MNH groups in their setting:
- PLA-MNH group programme planners (Modules 1, 2 and 11)
- PLA-MNH group programme trainers (Modules 3, 4, 5 and 6)
- PLA-MNH group implementation teams (Modules 7, 8, 9 and 10)
